The domain transfer is free. However, by transferring your domain to Intergrow you will renew your domain for an additional year extending the current domain expiration date 365 days. The $12.00 charge covers the mandatory renewal of your domain.
We can transfer (.com, .net, .org, .biz, .info and .us)
- The transfer process may take approximately 5 to 10 calendar days due to third party approvals.
- We are unable to process domain names that will expire within 10 days of today.
Optional Submission Procedures:
Upon initiating your transfer request you will receive . . .
A confirmation email that the transfer has been initiated.
IMPORTANT: The current registrar will receive the transfer request and must verify the request via email to the admin contact of the applicable domain name. The admin contact must respond to this email for the transfer to be approved.
The Domain Transfer Process:
1. The information from the WHOIS service at the current registrar is retrieved for each domain. If you have registered the domain with a registrar that doesn't provide standard WHOIS service, this process should be done manually with an additional charge of 1 DRY (Domain Registration Year).
2. A domain can't be transferred until 60 days of being registered at or transferred to the current registrar.
3. An Email to the current administrative contact of the domain is sent requesting authorization for the transfer. If that email address is out of date, please update it with your current registrar before attempting to transfer the domain to Intergrow.
4. Upon receipt of a positive answer from the current administrative contact, the transfer is requested to the Registry. The transfer may fail if the current registrar declines the authorization. An Email explaining this condition will be sent to you and the current administrative contact.
5. If the the transfer succeed (it take usually five days from the receipt of the authorization), the domain is activated in Intergrow under a new profile created with the information retrieved from WHOIS. It is up to you modify this profile, if desired, through our "Domain Account Login" link on the left.
Due to the many steps involved in a registrar transfer Intergrow makes no warranty that your domain transfer will be completed in certain time period. We strongly suggest that you transfer your domain at least 45 days prior to it's expiration date. The transfer adds one year to the current expiration date, regardless of the date of the transfer.
Note: If a domain is expired, the transfer of registrars can not be processed.
