1 Do you offer Windows NT and Linux/Unix servers?Yes. Many low cost hosting companies will not offer Windows NT servers, which greatly limits the
features they can offer. With Intergrow you can have PHP and MySQL on either platform or ODBC, Cold
Fusion, SQL Databases,
and ASP on Windows. 2 What services do you NOT support?
We do not support Telnet access or SSH access and currently we do not support Java Server Pages although it will be offered within the year (JSP). Otherwise, because we provide a choice between Windows NT and Unix servers with Linux operating systems, we have very little restrictions with the services we can offer. Most low cost hosting companies only offer Unix servers which means they can not offer ODBC, Cold Fusion, SQL Databases, or ASP - we can!

Our Windows and Unix servers support Microsoft FrontPage 98, 2000 and 2002.
5 Do I have to have a domain name to sign up for a hosting plan?
No. You can register your domain name at the same time you sign up for your web hosting account.
You can register .Com, .Net, .Org, .Biz, .Info, .TV and .US for only $12.00/year.
6 Can I transfer domains with different extensions other then .org, .net and .com?
Yes. You can transfer domains with the following extensions to us at a cost of $12.00, which extends the registration period one (1) year for:
.Com .Net .Org .Info .US
7 When you register a domain how much time is needed before the domain name shows up on the Internet?
When you register a new domain or make changes to an old domain, the registrar requires time to update the records as do the various ISP's. This time can take between 2-5 days to complete. This is standard internet time and is due to the number of networks involved. It is unavoidable. When planning websites or configuring a domain with email please take into consideration these time restrictions.
8 I just registered a domain with Intergrow but when I do a look up in any Whois, the domain still shows up as
available. Why is that?
When you register with us the domain is registered immediately. Whois is a global registry system and it can take up to 72 hours to update. You will have to allow time for the domain to show up as registered by you in any Whois record. And since most Internet service companies that provide domain registrations use the InterNIC WHOIS database, you may find your name coming up as "available" on those sites, even though you have already secured it.
9 What is a Domain Name Server (DNS)?
Domain Name Servers have a similar function as a phone book. Names servers act as a directory that matches domains to their IP addresses. These directories direct traffic to the correct website. If you do not have name server information on your registration form then a person browsing the internet will never find your website. The entry for an individual domain on a name server is referred to as a zone file.

11 Are Web Forwarding and Web Aliasing the same thing?
No, Web Forwarding and Web Aliasing are not the same. Whereas Web Forwarding directs your Domain Name to your website, aliasing allows you to use multiple domains for your site. For example, aliasing mysite.com and myaliasedsite.com allows users to reach the same file with both http://www.mysite.com/test.htm and http://www.myaliasedsite.com/test.htm.
12 What is Smartmax Web Admin 5.5?
Smartmax Web Admin 5.5 is a mail server product by IPSwitch, Inc. (http://www.ipswitch.com). Intergrow uses this product
for our mail servers, and you use it to manage your mail from your Web browser.
13 How do I set up an email address in Smartmax Web Admin 5.5?

This will take you to the entrance of the Web interface.
Type in your mail admin name for the username. (ex. admin@yourdomain.com)
Type in your mail admin password for the password.
Click User Administration under the Administrative Account Options dropdown box.
Click Add.
Complete the fields accordingly.
UserID - This is the actual account name, and is the address to which mail will be sent (ie. the "email" part of email@yourdomain.com)
14 What are the payment and billing procedures?
Intergrow, Ltd. bills for all services on the 10th of every month. Our customers receive an email and hard copy invoice, unless a request has been made to receive an email invoice only. You can pay your monthly invoice by check, money order, credit or debit card.

Mail your check or money order payment using the return envelop provided with your monthly invoice.
Credit/Debit Cards Accepted:
If you prefer credit card payments, but do not want to use the Online option described below, provide your credit card number with your returned invoice or via phone 239.989.3370. We will retain your credit card information so the information will only need to be provided once. You may request autodrafts for future payments.
2.Online
Through a link in your emailed invoice you may access our Online Payment Gateway and make a credit or debit card payment. We use a 128-bit VeriSign/Intuit Secure Link so you can be confident that your information is protected. Credit card information can be saved for future payments.
By using our Online Payment Gateway you will have access to all of your account records including transaction history, past statements and invoices.
15 Do you have flexible payment plans?
Yes. You can request to pay your hosting account monthly, quarterly, bi-annually or yearly. You can switch payment
options anytime with no charge.
