Then we submit your site to most search engines, indexes and any other things resembling either, that accept FREE submissions, including the major ones that require manual submissions and custom site descriptions. We also resubmit your site every 45 days so your site remains in the rankings. We do all of this as a part of our standard hosting and web design packages.

Free submissions? What engines and indexes does that include?
- Certainly all of the majors that you expect plus some more. Here is the list.
The Promotion Services that charge you a monthly fee, will they provide better results?
- They can be useful if they include engines or indexes that require a fee to be listed, which is very doubtful, or if they cover many of the manual submission sites (the ones with asterisks on the submission page). Otherwise, we will get your site listed on all the major engines and indexes just as well. We can also provide you with all of the information you would need to further promote your site to the portals that require manual submissions. This can be done very well by you once the site is optimized by us or any professional. If you do not have the time or inclination we can proceed with manual submissions for a fee.
How many search engines or indexes should I be listed with? I saw a company advertise they will submit my site to over 500 search engines. That's good, right?
- In the search engine game more is certainly not better. From the research we and many others have done over 90% of your site traffic will be generated by the top 10 major engines and indexes like MSN, AOL, Google, Lycos, AllTheWeb, Excite, Yahoo, etc.
The FREE list is missing some big ones - mainly Yahoo. Should I pay for submissions to sites like Yahoo, Overture, and Ask.com.
- Yahoo is the single most important Search Engine or Index on the Internet and will most likely generate 30-40% of your click-throughs, which is why it costs $299.00 annually to be listed (not our fee, theirs). Is it worth it? Depends on how serious you are about generating traffic. Overture is another highly useful search engine using a pay-per-click model.
