The starting point for a web design project is the consultation. We will establish what the main objectives are for your site and the overall size of the project.

Test Site
The test site is an important tool that you'll use to keep track of the web project. You'll use it to view and approve the web pages through all phases of the site design.
Site Navigation and Content
In order for the design process to work efficiently we will need to gauge the amount and type of content that will be included in the website. Site navigation is one of the most important and time consuming portions of the project. A navigation system for five web pages is very different than one for a large e-commerce site.
Layout
Your site will be designed with a consistent layout in mind using Cascading Style Sheets in most cases guaranteeing consistent look that is independent of content.
Graphical Content
Consistency is important for all your graphics. Color schemes and graphical creations should be consistent throughout your site. They will also be optimized for fast downloads and minimal site lag.
Final Design
The end of the design phase occurs when you approve the final layout and graphical feel.
During production your site will be tested extensively for functionality and ease of use. You'll use the Test Site to test and approve the pages before they are publicly available.
Live Testing
During production it may be useful to test your site with customers or employees in order to get feedback. A live test can let your customers provide feedback during the process. This will also occur constantly through your Test Site.
Formatting
All of the graphical elements on your site will be optimized to download as fast as possible using “jpeg and gif cruncher” technology. The difference between proper and improper optimization can be the difference between a happy or a frustrated visitor. Crunching the graphics and optimizing your site code can reduce the file sizes of your website by up to 80%. Some of the text on your site may also be in the form of a graphic due to the inability of most web browsers to display a wide range of fonts.
Search Engine Submission
At this point your site has been quite excellently
optimized for search engines and indexes. Now we submit your site to most
search engines, indexes and any other things resembling either, that accept
FREE submissions, including the major ones that require manual submissions and custom site descriptions. We also resubmit your site every 45 days so your site remains in the rankings. We do all of this as a part of our standard hosting and web design packages.
Before your website is posted to its new address it will be thoroughly tested. Every link and graphic will be checked. All of the written content will be checked for grammatical errors.
Site Updates
If your site requires daily or monthly updates we can help. If you want to handle this in house, we can show your employees how to update content. However, most of our
hosting plans have monthly edit time built into the plans so you have the budgetary freedom to keep your site current. Monthly maintenance contracts are also available for those sites requiring more than 240 minutes of updates per month. Our hourly rate for updates is $39.00/hour under 240 minutes and $35.00/hour over 240 minutes. Discounts are available for prepaid time.

Your website should always be reflective of you business. Our design will be flexible, expandable and easily updateable. Our hosting plans have monthly edit time built into the plans so you have the budgetary freedom to keep your site current.
